Reporting incorrect BIN data

Our BIN data is best-effort and community-sourced, so occasional errors are possible. If a lookup returns something wrong, email us the BIN (the first 6-8 digits only — never a full card number) and what you expected, and we’ll review it.

What we can’t help with

We’re an informational tool, so there are things we simply can’t do:

  • We cannot look up who owns a card or access any account.
  • We cannot verify whether a card is active, valid for payment, or has funds.
  • We cannot help with disputes, chargebacks, or suspected fraud — please contact your bank or card issuer directly.
